This year, Copenhagen Games is located at Lokomotivværkstedet. Since we're using up all our space, we've arranged for sleeping arrangements at DGI Byen - our old stomping grounds next to Øksnehallen.
This means there will be some transportation between Lokomotivværkstedet and DGI Byen and we've rented minibusses to drive in shuttle between the venues. But, with more than 400 people needing transport there and back again, we want to avoid a bottleneck of players eager to get to the venue to play their tournaments in the morning.
That's why we're very happy to announce that Stromma has agreed to step in with 2 large busses to ensure that we can get our players from their beds to PCs as quickly as possible in the mornings.
It's important to be ready for pick-up from DGI Byen at 8 to 8:30 AM so we can get everyone ready for playing at Lokomotivværkstedet in time.
Stromma is northern Europe's largest provider og sighseeing and operates at 15 destinations in 6 countries - Amsterdam, Utrecht, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, Malmö, Helsinki, Oslo, Stavanger, Bergen, Ålesund, Geiranger og Berlin.
We're very excited about this support for our participants and are looking forwards to working with Stromma in the future.
At arrival you can get a schedule for the busses. Or, if you want to take a stroll before sitting at the LAN all day - the walk between DGI Byen and Lokomotivværkstedet is just 25 minutes.
