Main

Format: 3v3 Squads bo2 until finale bo5.

Single Elimination.

One hour matches until final.

Final will have a timeframe of 3 hours.

Points are earned by kills and placement.

Teams are allowed one match per round with 2 players, in case of technical problems.

each team will get a code unique code to put in their name before each round to prevent alterations with the results.

One player will take screenshots after each game and upload the pictures to the admins after 1 hour of playing. (if a team have not uploaded the results no later than 30 minutes after each round, the team will then be disqualified).

Prize pool

Total prize pool 20,000 DKK

1st: 10,000 DKK

2nd: 5,000 DDK

3rd: 2,500 DDK

 

1,000 DDK to the team with the most damage dealt over all before the finale.

1,000 DDK to the team with the longest average time alive.

500 DDK to the team with most kill overall.

 

Warmup

Format: 3v3 Squads 4 hours

4 hours of playing.

Kills and wins will each give a certain amount of points (1 kill = 1 point 1 win = 5 points)

One player will take screenshots after each game and upload the pictures to the admins after the tournament has ended. (If a team has not uploaded the results no later than 30 minutes after ending the tournament, the team in question will be disqualified).

 

Rules

1. Game format

 

1.1 Player eligibility

All players participating in APEX LEGENDS COPENHAGEN GAMES competitions must link their EA ID. The gameaccount is needed to check if the correct player is playing.

1.2 Team and Player names

Copenhagen games reserves the right to edit gamertags and URL aliases. team og player names that are too similar to that of another team or player are subject to be changed by Admins

1.3 Game version

All players must play on the newest version of the game Apex Legends in order to compete in the tournament

1.4 Technical Issues

Teams are responsible for their own technical issues (hardware).

If the game servers go down for the majority of the competing teams, then the tournament will be postponed or ultimately cancelled.

1.5 Participation

Buying a ticket on the website (https://copenhagengames.com) grants you access to the tournament IF all other rules and regulations are met.

1.7 Disqualification

Too keep the tournament as efficient as possible, the admin team reserves the right to disqualify teams, if they are stalling the tournament start intentionally.

Usage of any 3rd party programs that enhance, add, modify, or remove game appearance, color, or files, is strictly prohibited during this event.

Intentionally changing your character's angle to look through a texture or object is prohibited. You are not allowed to set two actions to the same key in key bindings.

2. Apex rules

2.1 Teams

Each team is a combination of 3 players who is PHYSICALLY present at the event

2.2 Point gathering

Each kill gives 1 point, each win will give 5 points

 

3. Details

3.1 Prep

Please resolve any problems that might occur before a round starts. Connection or hardware problems during a match, could ultimately lead to disqualification (The show must go on).

3.2 Not showing up

If a team doesn't check in before tournament start, the team will then be removed from the tournament.

3.3 Disconnect

If a player disconnects, the team is allowed to play the match at a disadvantage.

3.4 Forfeits

Teams can choose to forfeit a match, if they wish. Forfeiting will result in 0 points for the forfeiting team, and advancement for the other team.

3.5 Tiebreaker

In case of a tie in the results, the team with the most damage advances to the next stage.

If the winner hasn't been found after damage count, then the winner will be found at random

3.6 Results

All results need to be submitted and confirmed by both teams. Every team needs at least one player who is submitting the screenshot in the right format entering the match id in the chat at the result screen. If anything is unclear, participants should have screenshots available to verify the result and file a protest.

 

4. Communication & Support

4.1 Admins

All participants must adhere to the decisions and rules of the tournament organizers, admins, and referees. All decisions are final, except in cases where the option to appeal is clearly stated. Conversations, either verbal or written, between organizers, admins or referees, and participants are confidential. Publicly posting or sharing these conversations with outside parties is strictly forbidden, unless permission is obtained.

Streaming during the tournament is allowed, and could help incase of results and other variables
