Copenhagen Games postponed
2022 event postponed
On February 1st, all corona restrictions were lifted in Denmark, and thus after 2 years of corona closure, it was possible for us to once again do Copenhagen Games.
Where we usually spend min. 6 -8 months. with preparations, it has given us approx. 2 months to plan and prepare for the event. It has presented a number of challenges.
- The global crisis in the IT industry with a shortage of chips, has meant that we have not been able to find the approx. 400 computers we need for Copenhagen Games.
- There are still many countries with different corona restrictions that make it difficult for many of our participants to travel.
- Many of our commercial partners, exhibitors and sponsors are not ready for the event, just as some have chosen other paths and other strategies. This means that we have simply not been able to create the financial foundation for the event.
- The hefty development with many corona patients in Denmark, gives us a high risk that a lot of crew will be ill for the event.
That is why it is with a heavy heart, that we have had to throw in the towel for the Copenhagen Games 2022
We are trying to move the event to summer, or alternatively the event will be moved to 2023
More info will be announced
All purchased tickets will be refunded automatically, within the next 2 weeks.
There is nothing we wanted more than to do the event now, and we did try our best, even with the very difficult situation, but unfortunately it was not possible.
We hope there is an understanding of the situation.
